Guy Sweetman

Clinic Director – Sports Therapist

Since founding the business in 2010, Guy has propelled the South West into a new era of injury treatment and rehabilitation, leaving outdated methods behind. His dream has always been to offer elite-level treatments to the general public, ensuring that everyone has access to Olympic-standard recovery.

Guy frequently collaborates with elite athletes, ranging from premiership rugby players to Team GB competitors, while also assisting recreational sports enthusiasts and patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal issues.

Passionate about providing the most advanced treatment options, Guy is committed to helping everyone recover more quickly. He actively participates in conferences, seminars, and courses to continually expand his knowledge, ensuring that the root cause of each injury is identified before moving forward with treatment and rehabilitation.

In 2024, Guy seized the chance to join a talented group of physiotherapists on a trip to Iten, Kenya, known as The Home of Champions, for a conference focused on running-related injuries. During this experience, he gained valuable insights by observing and learning from some of the world’s top athletes, even running alongside the world 10,000-meter record holder at Kipchoge Stadium! With extensive experience working with both elite and recreational runners, Guy is also a certified running technique specialist through The Running School.

In his free time, Guys sporting passion is badminton. At just 15 years old, he received sponsorship from former world number 2 and ex-Korean champions, Lee Jae Bok and Lee Young Sook. This opportunity led him to travel to Milton Keynes multiple times a week for several years, with thanks to his Dads transport! The coaching goal was to demonstrate how their input could help someone reach Olympic level. Although Guy would never have had the physical, mental, or racket skill set to compete at that level, the experience of training alongside elite athletes and coaches instilled in him the discipline and drive that now reflects in his practice and still allows him to train and play to this day!

As well as badminton Guy loves a day out at Sandy Park to follow the rugby teams, competing in Hyrox and running events such as Exeters Great West Run!
